today i am awake, yay!
im sitting in the den waiting for people to come hang up art. then im off to do some grocery shopping. i need to get everythign from cranberry juice and perrier for the party tonight to big white flowers, probably casa blanca which are my fav.




the lovely thing about that is that gelsons is literally a block over and is attached to the centruy city mall, how convenient!! haha. i have to stop into sephora and louis viutton because im going away to atlanta on monday night for a week and the weather is very different there so i have to get a few products and give one of my bags to get fixed while im away. im really excited, ive heard amazing things about what im going to be doing there. the best part is that im not paying for a single thing and im actually getting paid to go! i really need a vacation. ive worked religiously all summer long and its time to step away for a while.. although its technically not really a vacation, ill be working. haha. but not my usual work so at least it will somewhat be vacation-like. ive heard the airport there is really rad so im excited about that haha.

after the store i have a casting meeting at two and then i have to head over to paramount and then back over here to set up for a dinner party. hopefully sometime today i can go to tarina tarintino to exchange soemthing. i bought the crystal earings there and i forgot that i can only wear specific metals in my ears or they get all red and painful.

tonight i might go to le deux or maybe catch a late double feature of pinapple express and... im not sure, maybe the bunny movie? idk, somethign that is light hearted and relaxing.




yesterday i was doing auditions most of the day for a new show that is casting personal shoppers, so if you know anyone that is one let me know! after i was supposed to go to the betsey johnson 30 year anniversary party with pink cupcakes and champagne and a preview of the fall collection but my work ran late and traffic was too bad to make it there so i ended up going to ice pan and getting a coffee soy and chocolate syrup in a cup. i should have gotten a waffle cone. ice pan is soo awesome!!! you can actually go there and order vegan ice cream, and they make it from scratch right in fron tof you. its amazing, you should go. its at the gateway on santa monica and la brea. mmm.




then i headed over to a meeting i had around seven then went home and hung out with the boyfriend.

this weekend is full of packing and preparation for atlanta, watching my neice, shopping, yoga, sushi, going to the goodwill and post office and hanging out with my best freinds and fam before i leave.

yesterday i woke up to a text from my best friend Mel telling me to get my ass up for a bagel and late.. which just happens to be a huge motivation to wake up for me [as was the bowl of crispex in vanilla soy milk this mrng]. so mel, avi and i went to starbucks and noahs bagel and sat outside. i got a venti 3 1/2 pump chai late with soymilk, ez ice, and an add shot aka shirleys dirty chai. and a whole weat sesame bagel with vegan butter. ofcourse noahs doesnt have vegan butter so us three just bring our own. haha. its pretty funny when noahs sees us bust out the tofutti cream cheese and earth balance butter becuase they must think we are cheap-os bringing our own spreads but in all honesty if they sold those there i wouldnt have to bring my own. i love going to ny because in new york almost every single bagel place has tofu based cream cheese and veggie butter because of kosher laws [jewish dietery rules] but there are lots of jews out here in la and you are called noahs NEW YORK bagel so cmon noahs.... think about that one...





so during breakfast i almost passed out because it was so damn hot. it wasnt even noon yet or even eleven probably and i was dying of heat, and we were under shade also. reason 1684352146 i hate anywhere north or east of santa monica/weho. so i went home and layed in bed and blasted the a/c and watched my favorite scenes of coyot ugly.
 
after that i got ready, had a healthy light lunch with my parents and headed off to malibu to say hi to my buddy i havnt seen in a while. hes been gone filming for about eight months so i stopped by his place and had a bunch of fresh fruit and chocolate he brought from when he was on location. i always try to take a picture of his house but it never fits in the fucken frame haha.



after i went to vanessas and saw her new place, its so sick. im jealous. im apartment shopping so now i have a lot of ideas of what to make sure i get haha. then we went to an open house and checked out these two apartments but they were way too expensive for studio city, and def not worth the price, which is fine, becuse im looking for something on the west side anyway. after we went shopping. i got these teal glasses and soem other cute things at popkiller and the necklace im holding below at tarina tarintino and some other things from there too from the new kid robot line, which is amazzzzing. so funny. grenades with cigarettes and haha just good stuff. it was crazy becuase there was a huuuuuuuuuge line for johnny cupcake next door with people that slept there alreaqdy FOUR FUCKEN days before. the line wrapped around the whole fucken block. then we went to soem other boutiques on melrose and vanesa got a cute one piece for hawaii and i found a rad purple jacket and heavy metal alexander wang belt.



then we went to the new aroma cafe on sunset. i looooove aroma cafe. its my favorite coffee place, but they dont have the same stuff as the real aroma cafe in israel, which i go to twice a day religiously when im there. the service sucked ofcourse and we got our food an hour late but i bitched in hebrew to the waitress and got us free parking and free desert. so it was fine. these chicks next to us were asking me about my ring and where i got it and since its from a vintage store it was obviously the only one and so they tried to buy it off me for a few hundred bucks and i kept saying no when they rose the price and so then they started speaking in hebrew about me. HAHAHAHA. btw, i know hebrew.... bitches. has any one ever talked behind your back and they didnt know that you understood or could hear them? its so lame. pathettttic.








after all that we went to vanessas and got read to go to le deux. which we never ended up going to becuase we went to a party at this guy marios house in the hills and didnt leave till almost four. it was a typical hollywood party, they always are. seeing i havnt really been going out in a few months since ive been so busy with work and just staying in with avi exhausted i decided to go out. but this one was actually pretty amusing, the guys from gossip girl were there, which by the way i dont even watch, i jsut havnt had time to, but ive heard great things, anyway they were there and were suprisingly really cool. i didnt really recognize them because liek i said i dont watch the show but that jsut made it funnier to me. one of them is tryign to hard to be liek johnny depp [although it was alcahol etc induced so i cwont hold it against them] and the other was actually really down to earth and sweet. i also met these two chicks from germany and told them all abotu las vegas becuase they were visiting and going there for the first time. im not even 21 but ive been to vegas so many tiems growign up that i know almost everywhere good to go. so i reccomended some spas, resteraunts, shows, buffets, and shops and then learned some german.











then we went in this guys bently back to vanessas to grab stuff and it was hilariuosss! it was like off roading in a bently haha. then back to the party for a bit and then took a taxi home and the cab driver was tellign us about jack nicolson and the playboy girls hes taken home from there almost every ngiht hahaha. he was pretty awesome.  then aroudn four i went to avis, woke his ass up, washed up , got in his bed and passed the fuck out.

what a fucken beautiful day it is. woke up at five in the morning!! then my boyfriend started laughing at me and told me to get the fuck back to sleep cuz i was trying to kiss him awake haha, oh well. fell back asleep in an instant and woke back up at nine ish and went straight to 3rd street to do some shopping!!!!

first i got a sugar free vanilla soy late from starbucks. my plan was to get an ice blended from coffee bean because ive gone days without one which is just unnatural for me. but i wore shorts and it was still too early for a cold drink and a hot one felt great with the beach breeze. went to sephora and found the all time best product ever invented. its this new sunscreen by peter thomas roth that actually is a mineral powder in a retractable brush so you can just swipe it on over your make up throughout the day and you cant even see it!! its fucking brilliant.  ive been wanting a sunscreen that wont mess up my makeup when i have to reapply every few hours [no wrinkles or cancer for me please]. also got a new bare escentuals brush. they have this great new full flawless one ive been meaning to get.

then i headed to urban and got these sick clear glasses and a really cute little coin purse thinger that folds so awesome i had to get it, and it was only 5 bucks on sale! woo steeeeeeal!!!!! dropped in this store called fresh and got this new perfume which smells so lovely, i love the scents from fresh, its so cliche but they really do smell so fresh and so clean clean haha. perfect for summer.  then i went to wasteland which is only my favorite vintage/second hand store ever. the santa monica one though, the melrose one has better rock t's but the s.m one has better finds, like the neutral colored prada bag i got, wow, so amazing. also got a really cute balck and jeweled snake ring and some cavin klein loafers, adorable!soooo comfie and so well priced!
after shopping me and the bf went to rfd, my fav vegan place. got this cheese and pate/spread platter at their new bakery which was , WOWW, fucking amazing! even if ur not vegan, youll think its fuckign amazing. and we got the club sanwhich , sooo good, with a glass of pinot, and a brownie to end it. best lunch ive had in a long time. well, besides the rolls from yu n mi sushi in bev hills, that never fails me and i eat there about two to three times a week haha.

then came back hom to the parents and my neice and nephew were here with my older bro, they are soo cute. i love playign with them, maya is such a cute little girl she is obsessed with the disney princesses right now, its so cute, i want to take her to tea time and dress up and put lipstick and tutus and tieras and have little sandwhiches and chocolate milk in tea cups haha. i have no idea where there is one but i have to find that.

the other day i went to see the screenign of the whackness at the la film festival, theres probably pics on some site of me on the carpet but i really have no desire to even start looking or askign for them haha. i got ready in my car cuz i didnt even know i was going till the last minute. haha. it was such a great film though. i lvoe how mary kate olsen always plays this free spirited hippy ish kinda girl. i love that, because she is like that in person and it totally comes off in her roles and i love it. she is such a talented girl! i love her and ashleys line too, i think the last thing i got of theirrs is the beige blazer, so cute.

so today at rfd i overheard this girl talk about how she remet with an old friend of hers that used to be fat. she said she felt bad about herself when she saw her becuase "she is so skinny now! i mean she used to be so big and now shes sooo skinny! her boobs even look so nice, i mean theyre not as big as mine but you know [she laughs] adn i dont beleive she barely ate at lunch she only eats steamed vegetables and tofu and juices and water. i mean, she was such a cow and now she eats nothing."
wow., i couldnt believe my ears. she was talkign so much shit!! i was liek wtf, you are clearly jealous you even said so yourself how yorue insecure around her, and now you are talkign crap abotu her to the rest of the gang? cmon, that is so classless. the girl was fat and now she lost weight and is eating healthy and takign care of herself, give her a break, good for her i say!! i almost wanted to say this to her but i stopped myself when the waiter brought my pinot. haha!

anyway, dont talk shit about people, especially the ones that overcome obstacles and better themselves, dont eb jealous, jsut go and grow yourself; get teh sunscreen i talked about and apply throughout the day so you look 40 when your 55 liek my mother; and drink shit loads of water. when i went to israel last summer my israeli guide told me that my pee shoudl be clear, not yellow, if it is that means youre not hydrating enough.

anyway, im off, ill post soem pics too, seeing that the last time i did that was months ago. sorry people, i work 16 hour days soemtimes. thats the life of workign in teh entertainment industry.

so im listening to david bowies greatest hits and just finished a bowl of crispix, wearing my boyfreinds black levis skinny 511's and my sex pistold tee, my hair is curly and im wearing a vintage givenchy gold necklace i got at a garage sale in san fran that some woman was selling for an old woman who was tryign to get rid of everything so instead of it being a few grand, i scored it for a few bucks. now THAT is more than a bargain could ever aspire to be.

so tmrw is warped tour in ventura, my favorite place war[ed tour books at, but im not going, i think th eonly one worth really going to is the one in fresno or carson in august with rise against. i assume ill catch relient k maybe too while im there, but really only going to see rise against. is not that great this year... maybe its just me.

yesterday i went shopping and got soem good stuff. i got a mirror, condom, and pair of shoes at the marc by marc jacobs store. the condom was just too funny so i got it as a gag gift. i mean cmon... a marc jacobs condom!?!?! haha. wow. i got soem cute gladiator sandals at lisa kline loaded with tiny punky gold studs. i love how i somehow make everythign i have punky. at least theyre neutral colored and not black. i got a cute bangle from chanel across the street thats black and has all these cute designs inside. hmm....that might be all i got... besides sprinkles for my brother cz its his bday today. hmmm, i think thats it.

so im in the market for a wallet. i got this louis viutton one last year with one of my first paychecks from MTV and now i just dispise the thing. i dont really fancy things with logos everywhere or that screams label whore so i have no idea what made me buy it but now its sitting in my room somewhere and im thinking of bringing it back if they let me, or ebay i guess. so nwo im using this 12 dollar thing from sidecca which is relaly neat but still not big enough so now i am in the market. if you have good ideas let me know!!

why do people eat at the ivy? its so overrated. its like.. the food isnt even good... but people go anyway in hopes to see some celebrity who is soley there to get photographed by the paparazzi and is hiding her mcdonalds under the table.

i have been so fucken busy lately, its made me sick, but im finally recovering.

so how i went from chilling out for a while to working full time is funny.

yesterday i was on set for a gruesome 13 hours, majority of which was in the desert sun. no vegan food really, and no sunscreen for the face is basically suicide. it was filled with tons of water though, and although the money made it worthwhile, the fact i had avi with me made nothing else matter at all. that boy makes even that fun.

anyway.

so after being awake from 4 30 a.m to 10 pm yesterday, i had to wake up at 7 this morning for my first day at my new job. i absolutely LOVE it. woo! tmrw i get to go to the directors guild to support my new boss and watch a screening and party thing and i have no idea what to wear. which is funny, because usually i have a ton of ideas. hm. so ya... tmrw will be filled with yoga, water, sushi, getting make up done and getting rready. wooo

today was pretty fun, after work i went to rock n sushi with vanessa on la brea/santa monica area. there was NO ONE in the sushi place when we got in so we were worried that it was lunch hour in west hollywood and no one was there haha. but it was AWESOME. they actually put honey in their eel sauce. mm. after that came back home and hung out with mel, went to whole foods got a zico coconut juice and smart water and then contemplated together over which sunscreen to get at target.

came home, disappeared from reality for a few hours and now im here.
in an hour avis pickin me up and were gonna have an ol fashion slumber party. haha. were watchign magnolia tonight, which ive never seen and avi raves about all the time so its finally time for me to see it.

on tuesday me and avi went to this great place on robertson called dr. tea. if youve never been and you appreaciate a good cup of tea and a zen area, you should go. i usually dont like chai tea hot, but it was amazing, of course i put agave and half soy half almond milk in it but it was GRAND. we made our way there in effort to find a good cup of tea when we were across the street at the bodhi bookstore. i dragged avi to agent provacateur [as soon as he saw what i was getting he wasnt complaining. haha.] and tarina tarintino so i didnt wanna make him continue shopping, plus mostly everything closes on robertson at seven on teh weekdays... so we went across the street to this place i always pass but never think twice about, and discovered the lovliness that many already knew but i discovered as dr. tea.

enough ravign about that.... hmmmm, what else can i rave about...

so i figured out a way to turn a simple triangle bikini into the kind where the scrunch is on the side. its the best fitting suit for boobies, and although you can get one normally liek that from target or vic sec for 15 bux, why nto make double use of the one you already got? maybe ill make a video of that soon.

everyone asks me where i get my dresses from. well, honestly, my whole life i have taken my mothers skirts and turned them into dresses. my earliest account of this might have to be when i lived in south africa. so basiaclly, there not even dresses, there just old vintage skirts i get from shops and my moms closet and garage sales etc and just lift them up and tie em up around the waist or under the boobs for an empire waist and thats basically it.... so now you have a lot of cute dresses too.
and my headbands.... theyre just my necklaces tied up as headbands.

so im redoing my room, but im movign soon so i dotn want to do anythign to drastic. i guess im more of cleaning it out and dejunking it mroe than anything. soon ill have some stuff on sale.

i should post some new pics up too, and a video... and update my youtube and buzznet acounts.... then again... when i have time to write/update more than this, ill probably fall asleep first.

right now im not obsessed with any type of clothes/accessories and it is bothering me. i think it is becuase i havnt had time to hit the shops, markets or sales. i miss the high end and i miss the high street.


maybe ill muster some time on saturday.
